Renovation of a late 1960s villa in Herentals. The existing modernist architecture was a main guideline in this renovation. By taking out some interior walls, we opened the space and allowed the natural light to enter the interior even better. To keep the attention on the modernist forms, we kept the interior finishings very minimal and pure. Carefully selected materials in wall finishing add a subtle craftsmanship.
